Travis Walls 

With over 20 years of experience in the landscape industry, Travis Walls brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep-rooted passion for his work to Akehurst Landscape Service. Growing up in a small town on the eastern shore of Maryland, Travis began his journey in landscaping at the tender age of eight, working alongside his father in the family business. This early exposure instilled in him a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality that he carries into every aspect of his work today.

Travis attended Chesapeake College for two semesters, where he focused on business law, further shaping his understanding of the business landscape. His diverse career has seen him excel in various roles, from laborer to crew leader and account manager, before taking on the position of business developer. Travis's ultimate goal is to become an operations or branch manager, where he can leverage his extensive experience to guide and inspire others in the industry.

Known for his grounded demeanor and traditional values, Travis is a "salt of the earth" individual who deeply cares for his family and community. His excellent communication skills foster strong relationships with both associates and clients, making him a trusted partner in everyone he works with.

Outside of work, Travis is a devoted husband and father who enjoys a variety of hobbies, including golfing, playing video games, and watching movies and television shows. An avid outdoorsman, he loves fishing and hunting, with golf being his favorite pastime. A loyal fan of the Washington Commanders, he will reluctantly also cheer on the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles in solidarity.



Travis finds immense satisfaction in landscaping, particularly in enhancing the beauty and value of his clients' properties while evoking cherished memories of his childhood spent working with his father. His dedication to customer happiness drives him to create outdoor spaces that bring joy and lasting memories to families, just as it did for him growing up.
