Tom Wallace

Tom Wallace brings over 20 years of experience and dedication to his role as an Account Manager at Akehurst Landscape Service. A New Jersey native who now calls Bel Air, Maryland home, Tom’s journey in the landscape industry has been built from the ground up. He began his career at Akehurst as a crew leader and steadily climbed the ranks through hard work, reliability, and a passion for excellent service.

Tom’s professional roots extend beyond landscaping. Over the years, he’s worn many hats, including lifeguard, grave digger, paint store associate, arcade employee, and even volunteer firefighter. This diverse background has shaped his strong work ethic and well-rounded approach to customer service and team leadership.

Outside of work, Tom is a devoted sports enthusiast. He’s a lifelong fan of the Orioles and Ravens, though his childhood allegiance to Philadelphia sports teams still runs deep. A former college baseball player and Rookie of the Year, Tom is known for his impressive hitting ability. While he once dreamed of going pro, today he channels that same competitive spirit into his work and personal passions.



Tom enjoys fishing, spending time at the beach, and spending time with his family. He’s also forged an unusual friendship with a neighborhood squirrel named Nut who visits him nightly in exchange for peanuts, a small reminder of his good-natured humor and love for life’s simple moments.
