First in Maryland Receives Advanced Snow Manager Credentials.

June 29th, 2017, Joppa, Maryland – Greg Stacho, Operations Manager for Akehurst Landscape Service, Inc. receives Advanced Snow Manager (ASM) accreditation from the Snow and Ice Management Association, a North American trade organization promoting best practices for the snow and ice removal industry for North America.

With a little over 241 Advanced Snow Manager designations being given since SIMA instituted the program in 2013, Stacho has the distinction of being the first person from the state of Maryland to pass all of the courses required to receive the ASM designation. “With Greg being at the helm of operations for our firm, this official credential gives him more knowledge of safe and responsible operations and it continues to solidify Akehurst as the leader in snow and ice management for both our team and our clientele,” said John Akehurst, President.
