June 8, 2015, Joppa, Maryland – Akehurst Landscape Service, Inc., a 139-year-old horticultural company, announced today that Greg Stacho has been appointed to the new role of Director of Field Operations for the firm. He formally served as an Account Manager for the Grounds Maintenance Department and was promoted in September 2014 to Director of the Grounds Department. Today it was announced that the role encompasses all field operations of each department.
Stacho, a Certified Professional Horticulturalist, has worked twenty years in the landscape industry providing clients with both design and installation capabilities as well as managing their properties. He currently serves on the board of the Maryland Nursery and Landscape Association and serves on the Editorial Committee of SIMA (Snow and Ice Management Association), a national organization.
