Nick Piampi

Account Manager

Nicholas “Nick” Piampi serves as an Account Manager at Akehurst Landscape Service, bringing years of hands-on experience, leadership, and a passion for the landscape industry. His dedication to creating beautiful outdoor spaces and building lasting customer relationships has helped him develop a reputation for quality workmanship and strong team leadership.

Born and raised in Cockeysville, Nick's love for the outdoors began at an early age and ultimately shaped both his personal interests and professional career. When he isn't managing landscape operations, he enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and working with RC cars. Much of his free time is spent outdoors with his family. Nick and his wife are proud parents of two young boys, and their Boston Terrier, Lola. A devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan, he also enjoys taking on DIY home projects alongside his wife and volunteering at the campground where his family spends many weekends throughout the year.

A graduate of CCBC Dundalk with an Associate's Degree in Horticulture, Nick worked full-time in the industry while attending classes and gaining valuable hands-on experience through the Master Gardeners Club.

Throughout his career, Nick has held several leadership roles, including Landscape Foreman, Landscape Operations Manager, and his current position at Akehurst. His professional experience includes working at Valley View Farms, Green Source Lawn Care, and Hearn Landscape Contractors. What drew him to the landscape industry was the satisfaction of transforming outdoor spaces and seeing the dramatic impact a well-designed landscape can have on a property.

Known for his creativity, communication skills, and strong work ethic, Nick describes his career in three words: hardworking, meaningful, and creative. He takes great pride in building and leading successful teams while completing projects to exceptionally high standards. Among his most rewarding experiences are seeing a customer's reaction when a project is completed and watching a landscape evolve from an initial vision into a thriving, mature design over time.

Nick's passion for the outdoors, commitment to excellence, and dedication to customer satisfaction make him an invaluable member of the Akehurst team.
