Born in Iowa and having lived in Ohio and Tennessee, Jack Strickland now calls Maryland home. As an Account Manager for Akehurst Landscape Service, Jack brings two decades of experience in the landscaping industry, showcasing his dedication and expertise in every project he undertakes.

Jack's journey in landscaping began at the garden center at Valley View Farms, where he developed a passion for the outdoors. Over the years, he has worked his way up from laborer to crew leader, then to install foreman, and finally to his current role as account manager. His love for landscape enhancements shines through in his work, where he takes pride in transforming outdoor spaces.

A devoted husband and father of three, Jack treasures the time spent with his family. They enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, including camping, boating, and fishing, especially during their trips to Hilton Head, South Carolina. These adventures allow them to bond while enjoying nature and creating lasting memories. Jack is also an enthusiastic sports fan, cheering for the Cleveland Browns, Guardians, Cavaliers, and the Ohio State Buckeyes, which adds a spirited touch to family gatherings and game days.

Known for his driven and competitive nature, Jack finds fulfillment in completing projects and achieving goals. His contributions to Akehurst have been recognized, as he was awarded Support Staff of the Year twice, reflecting his commitment to excellence. One of his favorite memories is witnessing the personal and professional growth of those he has directly managed, a testament to his supportive leadership style.
