Ed Delaha

Business Developer

With over three decades in the green industry, Ed Delaha brings a wealth of experience, integrity, and passion to his role as Business Developer at Akehurst Landscape Service, where he has proudly served for the past 11 years. Known for his uncanny ability to earn trust and build meaningful, lasting relationships, Ed has become a respected and familiar presence in the commercial landscaping world.

A graduate of the University of Maryland and a lifelong Terrapins fan, Ed’s enthusiasm for his alma mater carries through to his love of sports, especially when it comes to cheering for the Maryland Terps, Baltimore Orioles, and Ravens. Outside of work and the stadium, you can often find him hiking and enjoying the outdoors. He works so hard to enhance his professional skills.

Ed is deeply involved in business and the local community. He’s an active member of LinkedIn Local Baltimore, IFMA Baltimore, and BOMA Baltimore. His dedication to excellence in landscaping was nationally recognized when he received a prestigious national landscape award for his work at the National Shrine in Washington, D.C.

Ed is also committed to mentoring and education. He’s a proud ACE Mentor and teaches at Eastern Technical High School, helping to guide and inspire the next generation of professionals. He holds a CPH (Certified Professional Horticulturist), CLT (Certified Landscape Technician), and Maryland pesticide license, further underscoring his technical expertise and commitment to industry standards.

Above all, Ed is a devoted husband to his wife, Patti, and a man whose personal and professional lives are grounded in loyalty, service, and heartfelt connection.
