Chris Reynolds 

Operations Manager 

Chris Reynolds is an Operations Manager at Akehurst Landscape Service, where he brings thoughtful leadership, a strong work ethic, and a passion for seeing projects through from concept to completion. Born in Valparaiso, Indiana, Chris now calls Maryland home—but his Midwestern roots still show his loyalty to the Chicago Bears, even while cheering for the Orioles and Ravens.

A proud graduate of McDaniel College, Chris earned his bachelor's degree in business administration and economics while playing collegiate football, an experience that shaped his team-first mindset and commitment to follow-through.

Chris enjoys the landscaping industry for its tangible rewards—the ability to see the results of hard work take shape and stand as a lasting product. He believes professional success comes from listening and learning from those around you, then applying those lessons to your own growth. His leadership philosophy centers on consistency, follow-through, and always being willing to do hard work.



Outside of work, Chris is a dedicated husband and father to two boys. When he’s not managing crews or walking job sites, he’s likely on the golf course or spending quality time with his family.
