Biggest Winter in History. Multiple peltings of snowstorms pushed through Maryland. Three blizzards required calling in the big mining loaders to pile snow higher than the regular wheel loaders could.  In 12 hours from our initial call for help, a police escort of several semi tractor trailers with skidloaders, and big mining loaders were on their way from up north, down i95 to our Joppa Headquarters, where they were dispatched to properties all across the Greater Baltimore/Harford County region.

The Sixth Generation Begins! June 15th was a proud moment for the Akehurst Family as Wm. Josiah Akehurst of the 6th generation of Akehursts, began working in the business. Josiah is currently a student of NHHS in the Ag Industrial Program and serves in the FFA as reporter and chaplain
